The new, and much expected, Hollywood blockbuster “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”, had an unorthodox introduction to the audience, as a trailer for the movie was leaked on the internet, only to be quickly removed just minutes after being posted on Thursday.

The video was uploaded on YouTube, and was captured with a phone camera, which showed the movie trailer, and has subtitles in Spanish on the screen. The clip starts with the narrator asking “Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy?” This is followed by a shot of Superman and the overlapping comments of various people about what superheroes do and why. Some of the comments which could have been heard were “Maybe he’s just a guy trying to do the right thing”and”We as a population on this planet have been looking for a savior.”

Batman makes his appearance next, with the unclear image of Ben Affleck, who will star as Batmen, followed by the Batman in full armor, going face to face with the other superhero, Superman. The released footage was intended to be premiered on Monday, in Imax theaters.

Is this a clever marketing trick or just a moment of weakness of the producers? Whatever case might be the truth, the hype has reached its climax, and the movie is being eagerly expected by numerous fans.
