Denise Huskins; a resident of Vellejo California was kidnapped in March by a disbarred Harvard trained lawyer- Matthew Muller. Two days later, Huskins re-appeared in Huntingtown Beach where she was dropped off in this part of her hometown. But when the incident was reported to a Vallejo police, she was told that it was just a hoax and this was just copied from the movie’ “Gone Girl”.

According to her boyfriend; Aaron Quinn, he woke up with a bright light in March 23 and was drugged by 2 kidnappers. Huskin was abducted and money was demanded from the family.

However, Muller was also involved in a home invasion which happened in 2009 as per Palo Alto police. But there was no strong evidence that will suffice to file a case against him. He was later charged by federal prosecutors for kidnapping and was arrested for abducting Denise and an allegedly attempted robbery.

In a jailhouse interview, Muller said he felt bad for his victims and that an apology has to be done. But Thomas Johnson stated that his client will still plead to be not guilty of the crime. Lately, this lawyer revealed that they will plead insanity and that his client has done things because of his bipolar disorder.
